This resource includes two labeled posters (1 color – 1 b/w) and two cut-n-paste worksheets. It has been designed for younger students with only five parts of the plant listed: roots, leaves, stem, flower and fruit.
Create a center suggestion:
Print and laminate the color posters.
1. Labeled Poster: Use laminated white cards to cover the ‘labels’ of the parts. (You can attach them if you wish using velcro). Have students name the parts and as they do, uncover each to self-check.
2. Cut-n-Paste Worksheet: After you’ve laminated the page cut out each ‘part.’ Attach velcro to each ‘part’ card and each ‘blank.’ Have students attach each part where it belongs.
