Within a Language Arts/English classroom

  • To give students practice in reading and gathering important information from their reading (Reading Comprehension questions are included)
  • To provide students with an opportunity to ‘go beyond the reading’ and write thoughtful essays using the article as a springboard. (Two essay questions are provided)

Within a Science classroom

  • Use at the beginning of a unit study on endangered animals.
