Students will learn about the first Thanksgiving with this resource. It includes a 13 slide PowerPoint presentation and a pdf file of the slides for printing. Information includes the arrival and first winter, the befriending of Native Americans, proclamation of the first celebratory feast and the food that was most likely eaten and President Lincoln’s proclamation of a national Thanksgiving.
Help your students learn and practice using new vocabulary words during March and April with a fun, Easter themed resource which contains a variety of Language Arts skills throughout including grammar, spelling, alphabetizing, using words in context, sentence writing and more. Grid art is a terrific way to practice using coordinates (A1) (D8) which is an important skill to master. Coordinates are a set of values that show an exact position which is used when graphing (Math) and reading maps (Geography). Your students will enjoy discovering the unknown, mystery picture…which happens to be a turkey!
Provide your students with extra handwriting practice with these Easter themed (bunny and eggs) pages. Students will practice letters, Easter-related words and two simple sentences:
‘The Easter eggs are in the Easter basket” and “The Easter eggs are dyed many colors.”
